Here was today's project. Why I decided to scrap wallpaper off the foyer walls right before Christmas I have no idea. Especially since the tree goes in the corner shown! The yuck on the right is the remains of the wallpaper, after the painted curface was removed with a razor. The left show bare plaster, after the paperbacking was scrapped off. The whole room will not get scrapped before the tree goes in but this was the worst corner. I am hoping to prime the stairway and the railing soon. And the 35-45 year old carpet is about to go. Luckily, the beautiful hardwood floors are under the pick shag....
