Les Mis
Tim, myself, Zoe and Rob went to Pittsburgh to see Les Miserables this evening. Excellent! Not that the revolution of 1832 translates historically to us specifically. More so the feelings of the individuals, the patriotism, the desire not to be a "slave" to the system. Everyone fried though. B still at horse camp. Summer is sooooooo tiring! How is evereone else doing?? B

What is Les Miserables?
Erin
Classic story by Victor Hugo about France tween 1815 and 1832. Man gets 19 years on a chain gang for stealing bread then gets parole and finds sthe world treats him no better. So he ditches his identity and starts anew. Later tries to help a woman who worked in his factory adn was fired for a silly reason. COuple of love story lines and revolution and whatnot. Try googling it or checking it out on Wikipedia. Maybe grandma will take you to the Wharton sometime to see a show. The girls loved seeing Mama Mia on stage! Any games this weekend or are you on break till you go to GA?
Oh sounds interesting. No we have no games until Georgia then our season is over.
The theater in downtown Pgh is beautiful and we went for Thai food first. We always sit in the cheap seats in back. And it is always very loud even up there! There are lots of different things to see in town - musicals, opera, ballet, plays, circuses (human only and animal).
