Hi everyone! Zoe here :) These are pictures of Claire, the seven year old Doxie that we're adopting! If all goes well, she will be home on Tuesday, because she has an appointment with the vet tomorrow. Even though she's an older gal, she still romps around like a puppy. Better yet, Riley treated her better than she's ever treated another dog at the first meeting. Hopefully it is the start of a long and beautiful friendship.
Claire came to the Washington Area Humane Society as a stray. She has a case of fleas, which has resulted in lots of itchiness and a bald little rump! She's very sweet and cute, though. And, as you can see, she doesn't mind being held and cuddled...as long as there isn't anything more interesting going on on the ground!
