Winter Wonderland

It's a winter wonderland this morning! It snowed and we are supposed to get up to 5" or so total. In our attempts to economize this holiday season, we drew straws to see who got to be the tree. Obviously, B won! The Kassler family Christmas party is this afternoon. I am about to walk to the store and see if I can find some sleds for the kids to play with.

As a side note, I may go into the "voodoo" doll business. BooDoo Dolls! This one was for a friend of mine whose 16 year rela ended this summer (about 15 years too late!!). Can you guess where he works?? Needle felted out of wool. Took about 3 hours and reports say he called complaining of overall body pain that evening! Hee hee hee

Just peeking at the blog while at work. Brig and the porch look good. love the dolls, small enough for the pocket in case further needles required.

The only problem at the moment with that doll is it is thin and a regular needle goes through really eseily. A felting needle is much more satisfying but there is a chance you will draw your own blood in your desire to stab! Might need to start with wet felt and needle felt over for more substance!

A very vertical stab would solve that problem. We are at the lake now, the tree will go up tomorrow. We are planning on being at Diane's on Christmas pending what the weather does. Talk with you soon.

Oh my. Definately have to be careful when stabbing! A tree? I think you said you have company coming on Sat? Girls finished with school this afternoon. B celebrated by napping all afternoon. I hope she catches up on some sleep over break. She gets at least 8 hours a night mornally but I guess that is not enough. Did you get your card?
