Be aware of what can happen if you drive straight to Florida and back - Blood Clot in your leg. Yes, I am home with a blood clot in my lower leg. My right ankle had been swollen after we got home las Saturday, but did not think anything about it. My calf was a little sore but I thought it was because I exercised while in Florida. It just kept getting worse through the week and finally on Thursday I decided to make an appt. for Friday but was told to come in immediatley. It luckily had not spread above my knee or I would have spent the night in the hospital. Marty has the priviledge of giving me shots 2 times a day. He is loving every minute of it. I am on bed rest until at least Monday (maybe longer) when I go back to the doctor. I joked most of the week that I thought I had a blood clot but it really became scary when I was actually told that is what is was.
