This is Sad Cat lounging in catbed v6.0. WE could not get our Nemo in this so I took it to Tanya's to show her. Her cat jumped right in.
Well, I got the loom up, warped, and weaving. I wove 2 yards of fabric this weekend. The warp (up and down strings) is cotton and the weft (side to side) are strips of plastic shopping bags. We get a lot of white and beige ones here. The bag is 11" high, 9" wide and 6" deep. This is a prototype but seems to hold a lot of weight. Brigid wove the handle for me on the inkle loom, using cotton and plastic strips. I have another yard of this fabric and am going to try constructing the next bag in a different way. I have 3-4 more yards of warp on the loom to experiment with. If this works out well, I will be asking you all to save and send pretty colored plastic bags for me!
