PA garden

We have sort of finished with the gardening. We finally got two tomatos into the Topsy Turvys. Going to be interested to see if they work. I made a strawberry basket based on something I read abd wanted to try. We also put some baskets together on the back porch (one impatiens and two strawberries). I had fun building a strawberry tower which was meant to be whimsical but I am not sure it is just nor weird. Reminds me of the guinea pig / bunny display at Potter Park! With the strawberries are two rhubarb plants. We also planted 10' each of cuc and loofah seeds (you, your favorite bath time scrubby is a gourd!) and a couple of zuc plants. Zoe has started volunteering as a ranch hand at Shekinah, the same camp they go to camp at and take lesson at. Apparently, her most memorable part was scrubbing urinals (Lynda - bring back any 8th grade winter camp memories????). Everyone is tired but happy. We have to build tomate trellis' tomorrow and get Bs shed garden (sunflowers and Morning Glorys) in. Let the weeding begin!
