Prom went very well. The kids spent three days this week helping decorate the gym for Grand March. I think it is a regional phenomenon. Those attending prom can choose to be part of a show off session at the high school prior to going to prom. There were something like 64 couples at the march. It also serves as a fundraiser for the following year's prom. There were 500 tickets sold to the event at $5 a pop. It is kind of interesting (and, yes, an opportunity to be snarky if one is inclined) to see everyone in one spot.
The kids rented a limo van with 8 other friends (the group you see in one of the photos). A lot of tulle in one spot!
Being biased, we thought Z and R looked great! Loved the gold with her skin and hair. R did a good job getting a tux that matched (given that he was not allowed to see the dress till he got here last night).
Prom was in Washington (PA) at a banquet hall. They then went to King's in Bentleyville (the site of Eddy's horrible incident with the automatic sink at JoJo's hands a few years ago).
Everyone was laid back today. B slept in so long (apparently she stayed up really late last night) that Tim thought she went to work with me!
