hanging on by a thread

Zoe is doing a fabulous job of working on her blanket project. She is insistent on doing the work herself at this point. We had other things to do yesterday as well but regardless, she managed to thread the remaining 1000 or so heddles before dark. She is actually threading the last one in the px below. I so, so wish I had a px or video of the moment after the one shown. In true Zoe fashion, she threaded the last one, raised up her arms, caught the threading hook on the loom and sent it flying! I am really going to miss this one when she troops off to college at Philly! She is hysterical intellectually but her accidental physical comedy is a scream!
