Lots happened inside the last few days but nothing worth photgraphing (molding is painted and stained, bi folds painted, hallway mudded, etc). Tim and Brigid decided to build the cat house today. This has nothing to do with the cat door inside though! This is for the psycho cat (Snick) and is her new abode. Look at all the features: lift up lid for easy cleaning (or if you are a bear, a quick snick-snack!); a windbreak to the right of the door; a loft area (there is a bench area on the same side as the door); insulation; even shingles (which were added after the photos were taken). Other than being inside, what more could you ask for??
So, last I checked this was a group blog, not just ours! Knock, knock....anybody else out there?? Hellooooooo.....

Hi Barb/Buns
Aunt Kathie here. I've been tracking your remodeling progress. Looks like work but turning out wonderful.
Maybe I can ride out with your Mom and check out your digs one of these days.
Keep it up!

Aunt Kathie - I wish it was going better but we are kind of at an impasse right now. Have a call in to a 2nd flooring guy (why do they come, measure and disappear off theface of the earth??) whom we will hopefully see today or tomorrow. I do not want to install the flooring molding or casings until we know what we are doing to the floor. So, work has kind of ceased for a bit. I did spend time cleaning yesterday.
Not sure when mom is plannign to come down. Love to have you! B
