More progress. After a bad start (I could have sworn those walls were ready to be primed first thing today...) the hallway was primed. Then Harry-O and I put in the bifold doors on the furnace room (straight ahead in middle px) and the prehung door for the laundry room (to left in same). We put in a new pocket door yesterday as the Tweedles putin a really ungly, luan door originally. We painted the hallway - hard to tell but the laundry room side is a lighter shade than the other two walls! The white board under the stairs has a cat access door so that they can get into the laundry room (food, litter box) but not the dog. We also stained the 23 pieces of casing for the doorframes and the windows today. Tomorrow we stain the floor molding and window sills, paint the ceiling and install the bifold doors in the bathroom to hide the electric box and water main, etc. B
